P2P on Binance: Appeal Process (Actual Experience)

It has almost been 5 months since I started trading with Binance. I don't usually use P2P, I use coins.ph instead to cash in. I recently decided to cash out. Since in coins.ph there will be conversion fee, I decided to cash out thru P2P by posting a Sell Order. Since I've decided to do P2P, I've read details on the how to do it and the things I should avoid and be careful about.

Someone bought me around Php3,000.00 worth of USDT (59.12 USDT). The buyer marked the order paid or he clicked "Transferred, Next" so it will appear to me the release crypto button.

He choose Paymaya but I did not receive confirmation from my Paymaya account. To double check, I opened my account to check the transaction. Unluckily, I did not receive any payment and the buyer, I keep on chatting he is not replying.

So, I make an appeal to not release the crypto automatically, since as per Binance policy, they will release the crypto in 2 working days.

"If the buyer paid, but the seller did not receive the payment, Binance customer service agents will contact the seller to release the crypto within 2 working days. If the crypto hasn't been released within the prescribed time, Binance customer service agents will forcibly release the crypto. If the crypto cannot be released normally, the seller needs to contact customer service to communicate, if she/he hasn't contacted, it will be considered as payment was received."

My SeedIn Review

During ECQ caused by COVID19, we are all stuck at home to keep safe from the spread of the virus. For more than 6 months of almost no regular work, I am stumbled back to the thought of "earning from home" and "let my money work for me" thoughts.

So, apart from learning how to invest in stocks, crypto, and the likes, I wanted to invest into something with less risk of losing money, something other than stocks! Other than Mutual funds and UITF's, I have came across this crowdfunding app called SeedIn.

What is SeedIn?

SeedIn is Southeast Asia's leading business financing platform where local businesses seeking short term-term financing connect with business entities seeking short term investments. (source: SeedIn FAQ). 

To simplify, SeedIn is an app where local businesses (SME, etc.) who seeks additional capital for their business can borrow money from SeedIn investors, other than the banks or other financial institutions who offers the same. The difference is that, SeedIn takes their fund from investing public.

To illustrate:

The interest gained from the borrowed amount is credited to the investor's account on a monthly basis, either balloon payment or equal repayment. SeedIn though have taxes, and risk management fee of 10% of the interest gained.

How to Pay your Philam Life Insurance Thru Credit Card

Since COVID19 and with restrictions in going in and out elsewhere. I have been planning to pay my Philam Life Insurance thru credit card as it is more convenient to me than going to the banks. Luckily, Philam updated their website allowing us to pay our insurance thru it.

My Sun Postpaid Plan Retention Application

I have an existing postpaid account with sun cellular under data plan 450. I used this plan for work related communications. It's inclusions are:

- Alcatel handset

- Unlimited calls and text to sun

- 250 texts to other network

- 250 mb data allocation

- 24 months lock-in period

I applied this plan last March 11, 2017 and it's expiring this coming March 11, 2019. I plan to retain my number since I have been using it for all of my important dealings, bank accounts data and other personal data. However, I wanted to apply for line only plan retaining this number.

Request for Credit Limit Increase - RCBC Credit Card

I got my RCBC Credit Card Visa last April 16, 2015. My credit limit is 15,000. I usually pay my purchases before the due date and in full. I do not pay the minimum due because I hate the finance charges.

It's a great help for me as I don't have to pay everything in cash. I applied for a supplementary card for my sister. Lately, our combined purchases took all my credit limit so I really feel the need for a higher credit limit.

Cebu Puericulture Center & Maternity House, Inc. - Maternity Package

For my son, I availed of the maternity package in Cebu Maternity Hospital and I had my checkup in their Mabolo clinic. I choose it because I live in Mandaue and I find it a lot more convenient compared to their main hospital. Although I still give birth to their main hospital.

The nurse incharge is very kind and approachable. The doctor came in around 10:00am usually with two OJT's.

Well, the requirements is still the same with their main hospital. In Mabolo, they don't have office during Wednesdays and Sundays. Clinic is open from 7:00am - 12:00nn.

Getting a Married License in Mandaue City

    My fiance and I is planning to get a civil wedding next month. We currently live in Mandaue City here in Cebu. List of requirements is available at the Civil Registrar's Office, as stated below. This is also where you should file your marriage license when all the documents are completed.

My Globe Load Tipid Plan 500

I have this load tipid plan 500 with globe for almost 1 year now. I was planning of modifying/changing my plan to their postpaid plan 499. I approach their store where I opened my line. Their sales representative told me that I should call 211 or their globe chat if I wanted to do that. So I did.

I both call 211 and then try their chat service online. Their CSR via 211 told me that he could not change my plan to postpaid plan 499 since is its load tipid plan and it is in a lock up period of 24 months. He said that I the only option is to open a new line.

I try their chat service. Their representative told me that I can only change plan to other load tipid plans and not in postpaid plan. She said that LTP's are considered prepaid and so I have to open another line. So, if you're planning to change your LTP's or applying for one, you know what to do.

Whoa?! Indeed, load tipid plan is like buying a load from the globe store with free phone and no expiry. A glorified prepaid.

My Sun Cellular Postpaid Application

I applied for Suncelluar post paid plan 450 last January 13, 2014, at their Sun Shop in Gaisano Island Mall Mactan. The CSR told me that the processing will be 2-3 days and that they will text me in the number I provided if my application is approved.

The documents I submitted were my last 2 months bill from my Globe LTP 500 Plan, last payment receipt and 2 valid ID's.

3 days after my application, I haven't receive any text yet so I called their mobile toll free hotline (200) to follow-up the status of my application (17January). The CSR told me that my application has not been forwarded by the the Sun Shop Gaisano Island Mall Mactan Branch and told me he'll call the branch re my application and that I should expect a text message within the day.

Sigh. I did not receive any updates within the day. I decided to wait maybe there's a little delay. I am not in rush, it's just that I am irritated since I am told to wait for for 2-3 days. In my experience with Globe, my postpaid application was approved within the day. I really needed a sun postpaid line in connection with my work. Most of our clients have a sun cellular mobile number.

Monday, January 20, 2014 I still did not receive any text/updates from Sun. So, I decided to call their mobile toll free hotline 200. At first, nobody is answering. I am quite impatient and I also emailed them via their Feedback Form. I did try to call again and waited for their CSR to answer, finally, I have speak to someone on the other line and relay my concern. He gave me a reference # and told me to follow-up the status after 2-3 days if I won't receive any text from sun.

I've waited but I still did not receive any text from sun regarding my application so I approach their sun shop store where I applied, last January 28,2014. Their representative told me that they require additional document, my proof of income. So I gave her my latest one month payslip. Again, she told me to wait for sun to text after 2-3 days. That would be February 1 assuming that my application is approved.

Today, February 3, 2014 I still did not receive any text from sun. I plan to follow-up my application later this day. I hope this time they'll give an update, approved or not doesn't matter to me. I need an honest status for my application.

This post will be updated once I get an update with Sun..Hmmn.

My Pag-ibig Online Payment Rebounce

This topic is an update re my last post about Pag-ibig, Pag-ibig Online Payment Facility, how reliable?

Today, at the very writing of this topic, I just read the reply from Pag-ibig public affairs email add that my contribution has been accepted and was posted to my fiancee's account. They have also sent me the proof including all necessary details. 

Thanks good heavens after more than 1 month they have verified my online payment.

So, I think this is a good news even though a bit longer to verify, at least their online payment facility is operational.

Here's the response I get from one of their representative:

Please see the attached copy of the contributions of Mr. ---------. Rest assured that even his contributions online is not updated still remains or credited under his complete name.

I am planning on buying a pocket wifi. Since globe store is near my place, I bought a pocket wifi in their store for Php 1,995.00 with free one hour internet just by texting FREE1 to 8888 according to their ad.

After installing the pocket wifi on my laptop, I transferred Php 2 pesos from my other globe number since the one hour free requires a minimum of Php 1.00 balance. But to my surprise, after I texted FREE1 to 8888 a reply came to me:

"Sorry this offer is available to selected Tattoo Broadband Prepaid subscribers only."

I really dislike dispute and else, the long process, this and that. So, I did not complain to the store and I loaded my new tattoo to access the internet.

What's very disappointing is that, the pocket wifi even with full signal (all green) the internet is too slow like pissing the hell out of me (sorry for being rude). Darn. This time I could not let this pass, so I approach the store and told them about my concern. The CSR told me that they could not check the device since they don't have technician in their store and that I have to go their service center so that the appropriate technician could check it. I was pissed off of course because as I said earlier I dislike hassle and else and besides their customer service center is a distant away from my place. The store only offer 7 days replacement and I only have 2 days left. I don't have time for this....

So, time to decide what to do with my postpaid plan and maybe try the other network. Hmmm! >_<

Pag-ibig Online Payment Facility, how reliable?

Last year, I was in Pag-ibig to apply for calamity loan. I saw their poster about online payment options using a credit card available in their website. So, I find it convenient since my fiancee was abroad. Curiosity wise, I tried it last December. I paid my fiancee's contributions for November and December 2013.  Here's the proof:

After the payment, I called Pag-ibig Cebu North (412 2191) to ask them when can I follow-up the payment. The CSR told me to call after 3 days. To be safe, I called their office back after 4 days. When I try to ask the CSR if the payment has been posted, she told me that she cannot open the details since it is POP (PAG-IBIG OVERSEAS PROGRAM) and that I have to contact their Head Office.

I emailed their head office about the concern and sent them the proof of my payment. At first, they responded my email immediately (within 24 hours). I receive the next email stating the last contribution made by my fiancee which is April 2013 which is not as expected. Whew! I emailed them again that I wanted to know if the payment via their online payment facility has been posted to my fiancee's account, up until now I receive no reply.

Now my next option is to pay over the counter since their online payment facility is not that reliable as of the moment. Too bad.

My BDO Credit Card Application

I applied for a BDO Standard Mastercard with following supporting documents: Passport ID, TIN, ITR, billing address, 3 months payslip (25k/month).

Few days after I received their call for confirmation, I checked their website for the status. Here is it,

FYI, I don't have any credit cards yet, I have a landline at home and postpaid line. Why did I chose to apply for BDO? Because I have a kabayan savings account with it, UITF and cash card. I feel comfortable having a card with them but unfortunately, it's not for me.

Maybe some things are not meant to be. hehe

I know what you're looking for. You wanted to know if hourlychicpay.com is legit right? I can't give you that answer since the site is claiming they are. I will just share my experience when I sign up with hourlychicpay.

Here's what you should expect if you sign up.

First, you'll get $12 dollar sign up bonus but that amount will be distributed to Solid Trust Pay, Perfect Money, Liberty Reserve and Egopay merchants, $3 each as you can see above. So, if you are like me who doesn't have any account in those merchants, then you need to sign up for one. The minimum withdrawal amount in those payment processor is $10, that means you can't withdraw those funds.

As you can read from their ad that you only have to purchase ad pack/shares from their site and from that they will pay you from using that ad. Each share/ad cost $0.99 with each corresponding size and minimum purchase. See below:

From that above, you can purchase the ad with XS size since you can buy just as low as 1 share/ad. Take note that you cannot used that $3 in your account since you cannot withdraw it from your hourlychicpay account.

So, the bottomline is, if you wanted to buy shares/ad you need to have a balance in either of the four merchants above.

Whew! If you are like me who doesn't want to invest a single penny inorder to earn extra income then you should not gamble unless someone closest to you tells you that it is profitable.

Advantages - what I like with PTC sites:

- you can earn without initial investment by clicking on the ads, completing offers & surveys
- easy payment scheme
- high income if you have many referrals
- some offers rented referrals
- easy to join
- they gave bonuses
- you can advertise your blog/website to increase your traffic
- you can choose to upgrade your membership for higher revenue

Disadvantages - why I dislike PTC sites:

- it takes you more than one month to reach their minimum payout amount
- their offers lets you buy stuff you don't like just to earn coins, or let you sign up for an account to a certain website that has no opt out settings and is always hardly possible
- surveys are fine but not always available
- competition is stiff due to many PTC sites and thus referral to 7th level is difficult to reach
- 1/100,000 chance of winning their bonus offer/ad prize, etc

Note: this is just my opinion based on my experience in using PTC sites. I may be wrong, I maybe right. The choice is yours to make.
